Procedures

Students who have taken the PSLE are posted into schools via the Secondary One (Sec 1) Posting Exercise. School admissions are based on merit and choice of secondary school made by the individual student. Please access the MOE website for further information and procedures.

Parents/Guardians whose child/ward has been posted to our school can visit our S1 Posting microsite to access the essential information that will aid you and your child/ward in preparing for the upcoming journey with us.

Appeals

Admissions through the Appeal Exercise will be based on objective and transparent measures of academic merit, i.e. PSLE results. Students are required to meet Xinmin Secondary School’s Cut-Off Point before they can be considered for the transfer.

For appeal for school transfer to Xinmin Secondary after Secondary 1 Posting Exercise, you may complete the Secondary 1 Appeal form and submit it by Tuesday 26 December 2023, 12 pm. Late application will not be considered. As vacancies are limited, only successful candidates will be notified by the school.
