(a) National Awards
National Day Awards
The Singapore National Day Awards are a means of recognizing various forms
of merit and service to Singapore.

The Commendation Medal: This Medal is awarded to individuals who has distinguished himself through commendable performance and conduct, or significant efficiency, competence, and devotion to duty.

The Long Service Medal: This Medal is awarded to any person who is of irreproachable character and whom the President is satisfied has completed at least 25 years of service to the nation.
